Inside looking out..always open for icecream
Bikers on the highway in Canada..the first two were easy enough to frame
‘Affliction’ was stopped at the red light
‘Bike Week’ was speeding ahead of us on the highway to the beach..
and I couldn’t resist this guy as he overtook us on the same highway, too close to get the full bike in the frame but distant enough for me to see he is married!

A few years ago reading about Walker Evans I came across another name, William A Christenberry, a photographer from Alabama whose images of the south have greatly influenced me in my passion for photographing random neglected buildings and space. Was sad to read that he passed away this week but it also reminded me of my recent trip to Nova Scotia and my search while there for abandoned empty buildings and old garages, I found quite a few and I like to think Mr Christenberry was guiding me when I found this petrol station on the outskirts of town.
Saw this guy, took the shot…cropped & converted to B&W, now cant decide which I like best!
Love the yellow block he’s sitting on but love the bleakness of the B&W.
